Preparing for your Arrival
As a guest of the ME@USD Day Visit Program, you will experience a typical day in the life of a USD student. Please note the following:
Please come prepared to be a student on our campus. Casual, comfortable clothing, sunscreen and a water bottle are recommended. We are proud of our campus community’s commitment to sustainability and will have stations for you to fill your water bottle around campus.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is happy to provide a light breakfast and lunch during your visit. You may want to bring a little spending money in case you want snacks or a souvenir from the Torero Store.
Please plan to spend your entire visit with your host. It is important that you do not leave campus during your stay. Feel free to bring books for studying.
USD is not responsible for personal property that may be damaged, lost or stolen during your visit, or for students who leave campus. Guests are expected to abide by all USD policies and state laws. (Please read Student Rules and Regulations.)
In an effort to provide an enjoyable and informative “day in the life of a Torero” experience, we expect all of our visitors to abide by the rules and policies that exist in order to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for current and visiting students. Policy violations may result in appropriate corrective action. Please be advised that you are required to sign and return a Liability Form prior to your arrival on campus. If you are under the age of 18, the liability form must be signed by your parent or legal guardian. Your participation in this event will be hindered if we do not receive a properly executed form prior to your arrival. Please submit a signed copy via one of the methods below:
