Come and See

Join us for Come and See on Sunday, April 23, 2017. This event will showcase USD's Catholic identity and tradition, providing opportunities for you to learn more about the many ways you'll be able to explore spirituality and grow in your faith as a Torero. Featured activities include: 

  • Welcome and Invocation
  • Student and Parent Panels
  • Campus Tour
  • Dinner with University Ministry Staff and Students
  • Mass in Founders Chapel

Check-in will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice. The event programming will conclude at 6:30 p.m. to allow you to join our community at our weekly Mass in Founders Chapel, which is held on Sundays from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.


You may register for Come and See via the MySanDiego portal. After logging in to the portal, visit the Admissions-Admitted tab and look for the "Spring Admitted Student Events" section. When registering, please note that you must use the email address you have on file with USD in order for your registration to be successful. (This will be the email address we have been using to contact you.) If you encounter problems when attempting to register, please: (1) make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled, (2) try another web browser and (3) clear your web browser cache. If you still cannot register, please give us a call so that we can assist.

You should have already received your MySanDiego username and password in an email sent to you by soon after you submitted your application. If you've misplaced your login credentials, please use the "Forgot Username/Password" link on the MySanDiego login screen, under "USD Applicants."

Planning Your Trip

When arranging hotel accommodations, we recommend that you consider booking with Bartell Hotels. Owned and operated by an USD alumnus, Bartell Hotels offers discounted room rates to friends and visitors of USD and donates 10% of all total room costs back to the University in support of student scholarships. Parking and Check-In

To prepare for your trip to campus, please review our driving directions and campus map. Make sure to enter campus via the West Entrance and park in the West Marian Way Parking Structure, which will be just ahead on your left. Check-in will take place inside the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, which is a short - but rather steep - walk up the hill from this structure. Should this walk pose any challenges to you or your family, trams are available to take you up the hill. Trams regularly pick up from the ground level of the parking structure.
