Current undergraduate students applying for financial aid for 2007-2008
must submit their applications by March
2, 2007 to be given priority
consideration for all available funds.

Continuing Graduates – Priority Deadline: April 1, 2007
Current graduate students applying for financial aid for 2006/2007 must
submit their applications by April 1, 2007
to be given priority consideration for all available funds.
How to Apply

All Students - Complete a 2007-2008 FAFSA.
The 2007-2008 FAFSA will be available on line after
January 1, 2007 .
In November-December, the U.S. Department of Education will send a renewal
notice to you by e-mail or letter with specific information about accessing
your renewal FAFSA. E-mails will only be sent to those students who
have a valid e-mail address with the Federal Processor as of October
28, 2006 . Additional information
can also be found in the Guide to Applying for Financial Aid
at USD (see below). If you do not receive a renewal notice,
do not miss the priority deadlines by waiting for it!
Students who entered USD before Summer 2004 - Must also complete
a 2007-2008 USD FAA.
Undergraduate and Graduate students who began their program at USD prior
to the start of Summer 2004 will also need to complete the USD
Financial Aid Application (FAA) (see below).
*First-Time Cal Grant Applicants – Must submit a completed GPA
Verification Form
Undergraduates applying for Cal Grants for the first time must submit
their FAFSA to the Federal Processor and a completed GPA Verification
form to the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) by March
2, 2007 . For complete information please visit http://www.calgrant.org
. Renewal Cal Grant recipients should
submit their FAFSAs to the Federal Processor by USD's priority filing
deadline-March 2, 2007.
