Parents Association Board
Dear Parents,
On behalf of the Parents’ Association and the Parents’ Association Board, we would like to welcome you to the USD family.
The Parents’ Association Board serves as your liaison to the University academic and administrative staff. Through the Office of Parent Relations, we have been able to effect positive changes for students based on your input. The names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of Board Members are included in this handbook. Please feel free to call your area Board Member, us, or the Office of Parent Relations, with any questions or concerns you may have. Please remember, an empathetic listener is just a phone call away.
The roles of the University of San Diego Parents Association Board member are to:- Support the mission and goals of the University and the Parents’ Association
- Provide communication between parents and University administration
- Support the University by contributing to the Parents Fund
- Represent the University in regions where there is a significant enrollment of USD students
- On an ongoing basis, to assist parents and families of USD students with day to day problems they may face while supporting college students.
The board members are looking forward to meeting you on Move In Day, Saturday, August 30, and at Family Weekend, Oct. 31- Nov 2. Best wishes to you and your family as you embark on your experience as members of the USD family.
