Draft a personal action plan describing the contribution you can make to two or three of the strategic initiatives during the next 6-18 months.

Chair the Preceptorial Task Force in the Spring 2006 and oversee the successful implementation of the Preceptorial Assistant program. Help develop workshops for faculty Preceptors and student Preceptorial Assistants to build a successful faculty/student partnership. Work with representatives from Student Affairs, Residence Life, Admissions, Associated Students, and University Ministry to develop a successful Orientation program for first year students that begins with the opening of school and continues throughout a student’s first year. This Orientation Program would support the goals of Inclusion & Diversity, Internationalization, and Catholic Social Thought, as well as Integrated Learning.

Identify individuals who could be partners in your commitment and the joint contribution you could make.

Excellent faculty preceptors (Del Dickson, Jim Bolender, Noelle Norton, Roger Pace) and accomplished Student Affairs staff (Merrick Marino, Marie Minnick) and representatives from Residence Life (Dayanne Izmirian).
