Catholic Devotions offered at USD

Eucharistic Adoration will be offered on Thursday nights in Founders Chapel.  Adoration is a time of quiet prayer and reflection in the presence of Jesus made known to us in The Blessed Sacrament.  Whether you have never been to adoration or you go to adoration often you are most welcome to come check it out.  All are welcome.

A Rosary for the intention of peace is offered at 8:30 Wednesday nights in Founders Chapel prior to the Mass for Peace.  The Rosary is a special devotion where we bring our intentions to God, ask Mary's prayers for us, and meditate on special moments in the lives of Jesus and Mary.  Don't worry if you don't have a rosary or have never prayed the rosary before we have guides and rosaries available to you.  We may have additional times that we gather to pray the rosary for the intentions of our community.

Those wishing to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet gather at 3:00PM on Fridays in Founders Chapel.  The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a devotional prayer that only takes a short time to pray and creates a lasting impact.  During the Divine Mercy Chaplet we ask for God's mercy on our world and we remember the cost of our salvation through Jesus' passion.  If you have never prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet, don't worry we have guides available and it is pretty easy to pick up.
