When is payday?
There are two payrolls a bi-weekly and a monthly. Click here for the Payroll Calendar.
- Bi-weekly employees are paid every other Friday.
- Monthly employees are paid on the 26th of the month.
Where do I pick up my paycheck?
If you choose to pick up your check, it will be at the Cashier’s office located in Hughes 207 after 9:00 a.m. on payday. Otherwise, it will be mailed two days prior to payday.
What is Direct Deposit and its benefits?
Direct Deposit provides the convenience of having your paycheck electronically deposited into the financial institution account(s) of your choice. You can setup more than one bank account.
How do I sign up for Direct Deposit?
Complete the Direct Deposit Form and attach a voided check(s). Then forward to the Payroll Department at Maher 106. Direct Deposits must go through a pre-note process which means you will receive a live check until the account has been verified through the pre-note process. This could take up to two pay periods.
How do I change my Direct Deposit account?
Complete the Direct Deposit Form by marking the box as add, change or cancel and attach a voided check(s) if you are adding an account(s). Then forward to the Payroll Department at Maher 106. Any new Direct Deposit must go through a pre-note process which means you will receive a live check until the account has been verified through the pre-note process. This could take up to two pay periods.
When is overtime and double-time calculated?
Overtime is paid at one in half times the regular rate of pay when a non-exempt employee works more than eight hours in a workday or 40 hours in a week or up to 8 hours on the 7th consecutive day of the workweek.
Double-time is paid at two times the regular rate of pay when a non-exempt employee works more than 12 hours in a workday or hours beyond 8 on the 7th consecutive day of the workweek.
USD’s workweek begins with Monday and ends on Sunday.
