The Copley Library addition actually is a free standing two-story structure of 46,000 square feet. The addition was held back from Camino Hall some twenty-four feet thus preserving the architectural integrity of Camino's west elevation. Attaching to the existing library by a corridor of the length the new building added an additional 250,00 volumes and provided seating for 485 readers. Just recently an interior remodel converted some of this space to computer stations.
