The Office of Budget and Treasury develops and maintains operating budgets and financial plans that are consistent with the University’s mission, goals, and strategic direction. The Office leads and coordinates the annual budgeting process and provides consultation services and automated reporting tools to assist faculty and administrators in their budget performance. The Office of Budget and Treasury also manages the University’s long-term investment portfolio, short-term cash flows, electronic commerce and credit card activities, and tax-exempt bonds.
