Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS): DARS is a software tool for charting a student’s progress toward her/his degree.

FERPA: Faculty who will have access to student records must first complete the FERPA tutorial before access will be granted.

One Stop Student Center (OSSC): USD will open the OSSC in the University Center on August 4. It will provide a single location for students to go to conduct business with respect to registration, financial aid, or tuition/fee payment. Students and employees will also be able to get their ID card from the Campus Card office, located in the same facility.

University Senate: The University Senate is a forum for faculty input on matters of significance to the University. The Senate consists of senators elected by the faculty, the academic Deans, Provost, President, and student representatives.
