Investigator Education

Beginning January 1, 2005 all researchers, including principal investigators, co-investigators, faculty who advise graduate students, and any research assistants, must submit proof that each has successfully completed the human subjects training course. The training course can be found at http://www.rohan.sdsu.edu/~gra/login . The website produces a certificate of successful completion that must be submitted with the research proposal to the University's IRB. Certificates are valid for 5 years from the date of issuance. The IRB recommends that all researchers retain a copy of their training certification for their records.
