Investigator Education

Beginning January 1, 2005 all researchers, including principal investigators, co-investigators, faculty who advise graduate students, and any research assistants, must submit proof that each has successfully completed the human subjects training course. The training course can be found at http://www.rohan.sdsu.edu/~gra/login . The website produces a certificate of successful completion that must be submitted with the research proposal to the University's IRB. Certificates are valid for two years from the date of issuance. The IRB recommends that all researchers retain a copy of their training certification for their records.
