Purpose |
| Building on the unique collaboration of a public university and a private university, the San Diego State University and University of San Diego Doctoral Program is designed to prepare school professionals who can create effective learning environments and responsible social policy in a rapidly changing world. Through
the combined efforts of the two universities, candidates will develop
a deeper understanding in a specific area of concentration. Candidates
will also benefit from the diverse viewpoints of faculty from both
universities committed to educational excellence and intellectual
