College of Arts and Sciences
The College of Arts and Sciences includes 33 departments and programs with 150 faculty teaching over 800 graduate and undergraduate classes. Intellectual disciplines within the Arts and Sciences assist students in developing coherent, integrated and rich world views. The curricula in Arts and Sciences immerse students in the study of the patterns of human, social, and cultural life. Major concentrations are focused in the Humanities, the Fine and Performing Arts, and the Social and Natural Sciences.
School of Business Administration
From new programs creating the first generation of information technology graduates to training executive leaders for the challenges of a new century, USD's School of Business Administration combines a tradition of academic excellence and business fundamentals with a vision toward the technological and entrepreneurial changes shaping the global economy.
Engineering

Offering majors in Electrical,
Industrial & Systems, and Mechanical Engineering, USD Engineering is
dedicated to preparing tomorrow's technical leaders by providing student-centered
education in nationally-recognized undergraduate programs that combine intensive
technical education with the University's traditional emphasis in the liberal
arts.
School of Leadership & Education Sciences
Vision is captured in four words: leadership, ethics, reflection, and diversity. Education for human service must have as its foundation a vision for enhancing human dignity and the quality of life. To do so, human service professionals must focus on moral perspectives in their professional and community lives. The faculty and staff of the School of Leadership & Education Sciences seek to impart this vision to their students.
School of Law
Founded in 1954, the University of San Diego School of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association, and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools and The Order of the Coif, the most distinguished rank of American law schools.
Phillip Y. Hahn School of Nursing and Health Sciences
Entering its 30th year, the School has graduated over 1200 students, 100 of them with the Nursing Doctorate. It is one of only three schools in California that confers the Ph.D. in Nursing degree. USD Nursing graduates have gone on to leadership positions as Director of Nursing, Dean, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Research, or Navy Admiral. Alumnae chair numerous boards and commissions, helping to improve the health care of San Diego, the nation, and the world.
