The Executive Nurse Leader track integrates nursing, administration, and business knowledge and skills in preparing graduates for leadership in health care systems. Graduates are prepared to assume leadership positions across the continuum of care delivery in vertically integrated health care systems, as well as in a variety of other public and private community settings. Course work in leadership, administration, organizational behavior, information management, strategic planning, marketing, and financial management provides the knowledge and skills needed to meet the challenges of managed care environments and other health care practice arenas.
