MSN Students

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is built upon the baccalaureate degree with an upper-division focus in nursing and emphasizes research, theory, and practice. The graduate program in nursing offers six tracks: Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist, Executive Nurse Leader, Clinical Nursing, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

All tracks share a common core of knowledge and each track is designed to prepare a graduate nurse in the respective area. The purpose of the program is to provide leadership preparation that will enable the graduate to assume a significant role in nursing and health care delivery. A joint-degree program leading to the MSN/MBA is also offered .

There are also several MSN options available. The options include a Nursing Education Option, a Latino Health Care Option, a Mindy-Body-Spirit Health Care Option and a Gerontological Option.
