Baseball has gifted us not just with summer fun, salty snacks and occasionally alarming renditions of the “Star Spangled Banner,” it has also presented a number of legal issues over the past 150 years. USD School of Law Dean Kevin Cole has partnered up with law professor John Minan to present The Little White Book of Baseball Law, an informative, fun 18 chapters that “touch on nearly every major area of the law.” Those who have spent nights staring at the ceiling pondering the answers to questions such as, “who is the legal owner of Barry Bonds’ record-setting home run ball?” need look no further.
