San Diego Study Looks At Impact Of War On Children
KPBS -- The wounds of war can have effects across generations. That's according to a first-of-its-kind study on the children of seriously wounded veterans.
The investigation, conducted by the Caster Family Center at the University of San Diego, focused on the kids of military personnel who were wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. The research finds that if the challenges faced by the kids of wounded warriors are not addressed, they could have long-term consequences. (Full Story)
