Economic Recovery to Continue in 2014
U-T San Diego -- In 2014, San Diego’s unemployment rate will continue to drop, housing prices will rise, and the region’s leaders should pursue a talented workforce.
Those are some of the points panelists made at the 30th San Diego County Economic Roundtable, held Friday at the University of San Diego. The economists and professionals touched on subjects such as raising the minimum wage, implementation of the Affordable Care Act, and the importance of regaining manufacturing jobs lost in the recession. Overall, they shared ideas on how San Diego’s economy can grow, despite some challenges. (Full Story)
