Book Takes on 'Designer' Anti-Crime Laws
San Diego Union-Tribune -- Noted San Diego defense attorney Alex Landon and journalist Elaine Halleck teamed up to write “A Parallel Universe,” a critical look at the impact of Draconian anti-crime laws that get passed in the wake of horrific murders.
The book pairs nonfiction sections by Landon and a fictional story by Halleck — hence the “Parallel Universe” title. Landon, who also teaches at the University of San Diego, answered questions recently by email. (Full Story)
