Join the San Diego community for Restoring Respect's 2nd Annual Conference on Restoring Civility to Civic Dialogue with keynote speaker Eugene Robinson, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the Washington Post.
Restoring Respect is a community initiative promoting greater civility in San Diego civic dialogue. University of San Diego President Mary E. Lyons, PhD, and Carl Luna, PhD, professor of Political Science at San Diego Mesa College invite the San Diego community to attend the conference which seeks to explore the ways in which civility can be promoted and restored in public discourse and in future political campaigns.
The conference is free, but registration is required. This initiative is supported by a consortium of San Diego area academic institutions and community groups including the Catfish Club of San Diego, the San Diego Community College District and the University of San Diego's School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES).
