EQ 2.0: Emotional Intelligence for the 21st Century
|Event Start Date||Tuesday, October 4, 2011|
Mother Rosalie Hill Hall, Room 102
|Event Start Time||8:00 am - 5:00 pm|
What is emotional intelligence (EQ) for the 21st century? It’s about a leader’s ability to inspire creativity and breakthrough thinking. It’s about the ability to create a safe environment where people can challenge their assumptions and typical ways of thinking and doing. It’s about being able to ask questions and engage in dialogue and deep listening to stimulate collaboration and innovation.
This interactive course translates emotional intelligence into what it takes for a leader to thrive rather than just survive in the 21st century. Participants learn how to use emotional intelligence to be grounded, truly present, to balance advocacy with inquiry, to bring out creativity, and to ask the deep questions that will propel their organizations forward.
This course will challenge your understanding of EQ and teach you to move from managing self to engaging others. You will learn:
