Troubleshooting
- Select Apple >> System Preferences.
- In System Preferences, select Network.
- Make sure that the Location is set to Automatic, and that it is showing the settings for Built-In Ethernet. Under the TCP/IP tab, make sure Using DHCP is selected next to Configure.
- In the DHCP Client ID box, type anything (it doesn’t matter what you type as long as it is different from what was there before), then press Apply Now.
- Wait a few seconds for a new IP Address to appear.
- Close the window, save the changes, and try to connect again.
