Details
The Changemaker Hub and the College of Arts and Sciences are excited to co-sponsor a panel and workshop on Changemaking at USD: Successes, Challenges and Opportunities. Join us for a conversation about some of the important programs and initiatives that have been created at the University of San Diego, as well as new ideas that can enhance the practice of changemaking on campus.
The panel will consist of faculty and staff who have been instrumental in leading the Center for Inclusion and Diversity and the Tribal Liaison Office (Dr. Esteban del Rio and Perse Lewis), the Department of Art, Architecture + Art History (Drs. Allison Wiese and Derrick Cartwright), the Black Student Resource Center (Ashley Barton), the Humanities Center (Dr. Brian Clack) and the Institute for Civil Civic Engagement (Dr. Carl Luna).
At this event, students, faculty, and staff will learn more about how these particular programs and initiatives were started on campus and they will discuss how these programs and initiatives can be enhanced and reinforced. There will also be an opportunity for participants to discuss about other types of programs and initiatives that could be implemented at USD to strengthen the campus community.
