All are welcome to join Dr. Christiana Peppard, a Catholic Changemaker, for her lecture on “Valuing Water” – Aridity and the Ethics of Water in the 21st Century.

Christiana Z. Peppard is Assistant Professor of Theology, Science and Ethics in the Theology Department at Fordham University. She is the author of Just Water: Theology, Ethics, and the Global Water Crisis. Her expertise is in emerging fresh water ethics, with other research interests including Laudato Si’, ecological theory and political ecology, feminist natural law theory, and the history and ethics of the Catholic Church’s engagement with modern biological sciences. Her research engages religious ecological ethics at the intersection of Catholic social teaching, ecological anthropology, natural law theory and developments in the earth sciences.
