In this three-part seminar, students will learn the principles and process of design thinking and be able to apply to innovation endeavors at any company, regardless of the company’s size, industry or growth stage. The seminar will provide an overview of design thinking, its purpose and process. Thereafter, the seminar will provide a primer on qualitative customer research, as well as the ideation, prototyping and testing stages. Several in-class exercises will further reinforce how to apply the design thinking process. 

This seminar occurs on three separate evenings, 6-9 p.m., on February 22 and 29, March 7

Learning Objectives:

- Recognize traditional approaches to innovation.
- Explore the key dimensions on which world markets differ.
- Identify challenges in innovating for different markets.
- Develop broad based strategies to address these challenges.
- Identify how to leverage creative talent within your organizations to meet these challenges.
