The women of Kappa Alpha Theta have partnered with the Center for Community, Awareness, and Social Action (CASA) and Torero Renaissance Scholars (TRS) to raise awareness about the Foster Care community at USD. Portraits of USD community members connected to Foster Care will be displayed in the UCs to give a “face” to Foster Youth at USD. Foster Faces will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 12-2pm in UC Forums C. In addition to the portraits on display, Kenyon Whitman, a Foster Youth and Dr. Cynthia Avery, a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), will be sharing their stories. Admission is free and food will be provided.
Please join us on November 11, 12pm-2pm in UC Forum C as we gather together to raise awareness for CASA. Let's give a "face" to the Foster Youth at USD.
