Presenting Scholars

Dr. David Marples, Distinguished Professor at the Department of History and Classics, University of Alberta; former Director of the Stasiuk Program for the Study of Contemporary Ukraine. Dr. Marples is a leading expert on Ukraine's history and politics and author of numerous books and articles about Ukraine.

Dr. Taras Kuzio, Research Associate at the Centre for Political and Regional Studies, Canadian Institute for Ukrainian Studies; Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations, School of Advanced International Relations, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Kuzio is recognized as one of the foremost Western experts on the politics and economy in Ukraine and Eurasia.
