Details

"Miserere" is the crowning achievement of Georges Rouault's career as a printmaker. The University of San Diego is fortunate to have a complete set of the 58 prints that Rouault created during World War I, out of despair and hope. In this exhibition, the University Galleries will present a selection of the best-known etchings and aquatints from the series, "Miserere," along with an exciting new acquisition that is closely related to these masterworks.
