What is emotional intelligence (EQ) for the 21st century? It’s about a leader’s ability to inspire creativity and breakthrough thinking. It’s about the ability to create a safe environment where people can challenge their assumptions and typical ways of thinking and doing. It’s about being able to ask questions and engage in dialogue and deep listening to stimulate collaboration and innovation.

This interactive course translates emotional intelligence into what it takes for a leader to thrive rather than just survive in the 21st century. Participants learn how to use emotional intelligence to be grounded, truly present, to balance advocacy with inquiry, to bring out creativity, and to ask the deep questions that will propel their organizations forward.

  • Practices that build leadership presence
  • Techniques for creating an organizational culture of trust and collaboration
