The keynote for the 12th Annual Residential Real Estate Conference: Outlook 2012 is Douglas G. Duncan, PhD, Fannie Mae’s vice president and chief economist. Duncan is responsible for managing Fannie Mae’s Strategy Division and Economics and Mortgage Market Analysis Groups. In this leadership role, Duncan provides all economic, housing and mortgage market forecasts and analyses and serves as the company’s thought leader and spokesperson on economic and mortgage market issues.
Other featured speakers will include: Alan Gin, PhD, associate professor of economics, University of San Diego; and Ryan Ratcliff, PhD, assistant professor of economics, University of San Diego. The speakers, along with a panel of local real estate experts, will discuss the state of the industry and give their forecasts for the 2012 residential real estate market from a local, state and national perspective.
